Not all printers use the same connector interface.
Some use a
PARALLEL
interface while others use a
SERIAL
interface. Xerox has provided both types of
connectors on the back of the processor. You'll need
to read your printer manual to determine whether
your printer uses a parallel or serial interface.
You'll also use your printer manual to set up your
printer.
If you're using a Xerox printer, you may need to
change the printer switch settings before operating
the printer. This information is provided in
Section 3: Printers, beginning on page 3-1.

Connect the printer to the processor.
- Plug the printer cable into the proper
connector on the back of the processor, either
"parallel" or "serial", matching plug to

connector.

screws on both sides of the plug.
