The Delete key is used to edit previously
entered commands.
It erases the
character at the current cursor position
and moves text following the deletedr-'\
character one position to the left.

The Insert key allows you to add
characters in the middle of a line and
moves the text that follows the insertion
to the right. To turn Insert off, press the
key a second time.
The Home Key moves the cursor to the
first character on the first line of the
screen. It is not used by MS-DOS.
The Up Arrow moves the cursor up one
line on the screen.
Each time the Left Arrow key is pressed, it
moves the cursor one position to the left.

The Right Arrow key moves the cursor oner",
position to the right.
The Down Arrow moves the cursor down
one line on the screen
The function of the End key depends upon
the application software package that you
are using.
The Page Up key, which is not used by
MS-DOS, scrolls the display upward.
The Page Down key scrolls the display
downward. Page Down is not used by MS-
DOS.
Caution: Never use a lowercase 1 or an uppercase
I for the digit one. Similarly, never use the letter
0
for the digit zero, as the computer will not
r-'\
recognize these characters as numbers.
