The steps below are for installing a full-page
display.
If
you have a partial-page monochrome
display, turn to page 1-9. If you have a color
display, turn to page 1-10.
The full-page controller board (9R80892) must have
~ '
been installed in your processor so that the display -,~,
connector is available for the display, as shown
below. The location of the connector will depend
upon where the board is installed. In Fig. 1-16, it is
located in option slot 3. If your processor does not
have this board installed, your service
representative will install it for you.

Connect the full-page display cable to the
processor.
• Place the display on top of the processor.
• Look at the plug on the end of the display
cable. Notice that the ring around the pins is
wider on one side. Turn the plug so that the
~
wider side is on the left. (See Fig. 1-16.)
. Insert the plug (matching plug to connector)
into the connector on the end of the full-page
controller board.
