GENERAL INFORMATION

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM

This device collects the fuel vapour from the fuel tank and is routed into the evaporative emission canister, where it is absorbed and
stored while the engine is stopped. When the engine is running and evaporative emission (EVAP) one way valve is open, fuel vapour in
the canister is drawn into the engine through the carburetor for reburning to avoid air pollution caused by fuel vapour diffused into the air.
No adjustment to the canister or the one way valve is required.
