Front Brake Disc Inspection - Honda CB HORNET 160R 2015 Shop Manual

BRAKE SYSTEM
Be careful not to
Install the new brake pad into the caliper.
apply grease on
brake pads.
Lubricate the pad pin with silicone grease before installation.
Install the brake pad pin by pushing the pads against the
pad spring to align the pad pin holes in the pads and caliper.
Drive the pad pin into the caliper.
TORQUE:17.2 N·m (1.7 kgf·m, 12 lbf·ft)

FRONT BRAKE DISC INSPECTION

Visually inspect the brake disc for damage or cracks.
Measure the brake disc thickness at several points.
SERVICE LIMIT: 3.5 mm (0.13 in)
Replace the brake disc if the smallest measurement is less
than service limit.
