MEMORY SEAT
RECLINER SENSOR OUT OF RANGE HIGH —
TEST

Ensure all seat and sensor connectors are connected and recliner motor is opera-
tional.
With the DRBIII select: Body Memory Seat Sensors
Monitor the Recliner Position sensor while operating the seat Recliner to both limits.
Did the voltage ever go above 7.0 volts ONLY when the motor was in operation?
Yes → Replace the Seat Track Assembly.
→ Go To 5
No

Disconnect the Memory Seat Module C1 connector.
Disconnect the Driver Power Seat Recliner Sensor connector.
Turn ignition on.
Measure the voltage between Recliner Position Signal circuit and ground.
Is there any voltage on the Recliner Position Signal circuit?
→ Go To 6
No
Yes → Repair the Recliner Position Signal circuit for a short to voltage.

Disconnect the Driver Power Seat Recliner Sensor connector.
Turn ignition on.
Measure the voltage between the Seat Sensor 5 volt supply circuit and ground.
Is the voltage above 5.5 volts?
Yes → Repair the seat sensor 5 volt supply ckt for a short to battery.
→ Go To 7
No

Turn ignition off.
Disconnect the Driver Power Seat Recliner Position Sensor connector
Ensure the Memory Seat Module is fully connected before proceeding.
Turn ignition on.
With the DRBIII select: Body Memory Seat Sensors
Read the Recliner Position Sensor voltage
Is the voltage above 0.2 volts?
Yes → Go To 8
→ Replace the Seat Track Assembly.
No

If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair

Perform MEMORY HEATED SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST -
VER 1.
Perform MEMORY HEATED SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST -
VER 1.
Perform MEMORY HEATED SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST -
VER 1.
Perform MEMORY HEATED SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST -
VER 1.
Replace the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module.
Perform MEMORY HEATED SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST -
VER 1.
