AUDIO
NO ANTENNA CONNECTION —
TEST
4 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Power Amplifier harness connectors.
Inspect the Power Amplifier connections.
Are the connections clean and tight?
Yes → Go To 5
→ Repair as needed.
No
5 Refer to Audio System and use the service information to test the Rear Window
Defogger/Antenna Module.
Was the Rear Window Defogger/Antenna Module ok?
Yes → Go To 6
→ Replace the Rear Window Defogger/Antenna Module.
No
6 Refer to Audio System and use the service information to test the Rear Window
Defogger Antenna (Grid).
Is the Rear Window Defogger Antenna (Grid) ok?
Yes → Go To 7
→ Repair or replace the Rear Window Defogger Antenna (Grid) as
No
7 Disconnect the Rear Window Defogger/Antenna Module harness connector.
Turn the ignition and Radio on.
Measure the voltage of the Radio 12V Output circuit.
Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?
Yes → Go To 8
→ Repair the Radio 12V Output circuit for an open.
No
8 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Rear Window Defogger/Antenna Module harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and case ground.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Go To 9
→ Repair the case ground connection. If ok, replace the Rear
No
9 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
