3.8.3 Maximum permissible transportation during double sheet control
The maximum permissible transportation speed of the metal blank depends on the sheet length,
the measurement target and the settling time t
With a upper threshold TU = 130% (see program parameters) the following guide lines apply:

with sensor gap < sensor diameter.
3.8.4 Measurement at standstill of sheet
For measuring of sheets in standstill condition, the following must be considered:
• The covering of the sensors must be 3 times the sensor diameter.
• The necessary minimum residence time is as long as settling time plus measurement time

Secondary magnetic flux

Magnetic conveyors can generate a secondary magnetic flux in the transported sheet which can
distort the measured value. The influence of the secondary magnetic flux can the minimized by
mounting the sensors away from the magnets as much as possible and also mounting the magnets
in such a way as to reduce secondary magnetic flux. For details refer to chapter 4.4.
By using the "dynamic Teach-In" function, the system considers this influence.
