6.6.2 EDS file for ControlNet
The EDS file contains the specific configuration data of the ControlNet adapter. The data must be
known to the scanner.
The manufacturers of the scanner supply the tools for the integration of the EDS file into the
ControlNet network. Suitable are for example Rockwell RSNetworx configuration tools (starting
from version 1.06). Roland Electronic does not supply such tools, because they have to be
compatible with the interface design of the scanner.
The EDS file is supplied on a CD or can be downloaded from the Roland homepage.
By pressing the key "DOWN", status indicators are shown on the display.
