Communications Failure
(Alarm sounds)
Description
This error occurs when the MCS tries to communicate with the DSP but receives no response
in 5 attempts. The error is cleared when power is cycled on the IMAGER.
Result of Error
The PRINTER cannot print films. The SPOOLER is able to receive and queue jobs but new
films will not be initiated. Films downstream of the subsystem will be completed. All other
films will be reprinted.
User Action
1
Restart the LASER IMAGER from the LOCAL PANEL.

If the error occurs again, call Service.
FE Action
1
De-energize then energize the LASER IMAGER.
