Note
UPPER DRAWER (U) = 21. MIDDLE DRAWER (M) = 22, LOWER DRAWER (L) = 23.
This error occurs if the leading edge is not detected at the FILM REGISTRATION
ACCUMULATOR FILM DETECT SENSOR (S9) after the leading edge of the film moves from
the film feed area and enters the vertical transport area. Note that it is possible that the
trailing edge of the film might be in the film feed area. The error is cleared when the IMAGER
DOORS are opened then closed. Open is indicated by the I3 INTERLOCK (PROCESSOR
and vertical DOOR) open. Close is indicated by the INTERLOCK closed.
Result of Error
The PRINTER cannot print films. The SPOOLER is able to receive and queue jobs but new
films will not be initiated. Films downstream of the subsystem will be completed. All other
films will be reprinted.
User Action
1 Open all DOORS and the FILM DRAWER.
2 Remove any film jams in area 2.
Note
Use the FILM FEED KNOB in area 2 to move the film down to the "bottom" access area.
3 Remove any film jams in area 1.
