Film Jam in Area 1: xxxxx
Supply
(Alarm sounds)
Description
Note
UPPER DRAWER (U) = 21. MIDDLE DRAWER (M) = 22. LOWER DRAWER (L) = 23.
This error occurs if the leading edge of the film does not clear the FILM AT FEED SENSOR
(S5x) when the film is moved into the FILM REGISTRATION. (Note: The SENSOR (S5x) can
only detect the leading edge of the film momentarily; it cannot detect the center or the trailing
edge of the film.) The error is cleared when the SUPPLY DRAWER is closed (as indicated by
the SUPPLY DRAWER INTERLOCK).
Result of Error
The PRINTER cannot print films. The SPOOLER is able to receive and queue jobs, but new
films will not be started. Films downstream of the subsystem will be completed. All other films
must be reprinted.
User Action
1
Open the DRAWER.
2
Close the CARTRIDGE to prevent film fog.
3
Remove any film jams.
4
Close the DRAWER.
