Description
Note
UPPER DRAWER (U) = 21. MIDDLE DRAWER (M) = 22, LOWER DRAWER (L) = 23.
This error occurs if the ROLLBACK reactivates at the home position (S6x) because the
ROLLBACK is rotating in place. The ROLLBACK MOTOR is moving (because the HOME
SENSOR changes state), but it does not move toward the OPEN SENSOR. A possible cause
is a CARTRIDGE not correctly installed. The error is cleared when the SUPPLY DRAWER is
closed (as indicated by the SUPPLY DRAWER INTERLOCK).
Result of Error
The system cannot print from this SUPPLY DRAWER. The SPOOLER is able to receive and
queue jobs, and print from any other available SUPPLY DRAWER.
User Action
1 Install a new FILM CARTRIDGE.
2 If the error occurs again, call Service.
FE Action
Do the actions below in sequence. If an action provides a resolution, do not continue with the
other actions.
1 De-energize then energize the LASER IMAGER.
