xxxxx Supply: Film Cartridge
Failed to Close
(Alarm sounds)
Description
Note
UPPER DRAWER (U) = 21. MIDDLE DRAWER (M) = 22, LOWER DRAWER (L) = 23.
This error occurs only when attempting to close a FILM CARTRIDGE. (Note that an open
CARTRIDGE operation does a close CARTRIDGE operation first, before attempting to open
the CARTRIDGE.) This error occurs when the ROLLBACK OPEN SENSOR (S7x) does not
acknowledge that the ROLLBACK moved from the ROLLBACK open position toward the
home position (ROLLBACK closed). This is possibly a failure of the ROLLBACK OPEN
SENSOR (S7x), but this error can also be caused by a ROLLBACK MOTOR (M6x) failure.
The error is cleared when the SUPPLY DRAWER is closed (as indicated by the SUPPLY
DRAWER INTERLOCK), or when power is cycled on the IMAGER.
Result of Error
The system cannot print from this SUPPLY DRAWER. The SPOOLER is able to receive and
queue jobs, and print from any other available SUPPLY DRAWER.
User Action
1
Open the DRAWER.
2
Close the CARTRIDGE to prevent film fog.
3
Close the DRAWER.
4
If the error occurs again, call Service.
