5.8 UPDATING THE FIRMWARE

Never switch off the power while downloading. Switching off the power while the
new software is being downloaded can damage the boot files in the controller.
5.8.1 SETTING THE MACHINE IN FIRMWARE UPDATE MODE
1. Turn off the power switch.
2. Remove the SD card [A] cover.
3. Insert the SD card [B] that contains the firmware in SD card slot C3.
4. Turn on the machine.

Wait about 60 sec. for the 'Power', 'Error', and 'Data In' LEDs on the operation panel to
light, and for the first module selection to appear.

With the machine in the firmware update mode, follow this procedure to review the status of
the firmware modules.
