INSPECT WIRELESS DOOR LOCK TRANSMITTER

OPERATION
HINT:
Refer to "Wireless door lock control receiver and transmitter re­
placement" on page BE-77.
Using a screwdriver, remove the screw and cover.
(a)
Remove the battery (lithium battery).
(b)
Install a new or normal battery (lithium battery).
(c)
HINT:
When a new or norma! battery can not be obtained, connect 2
new 1 .5 V batteries in series, connect the battery {+} to the bat­
tery receptacle side terminal and battery {-) to the bottom termi­
nal, then apply 3 V voltage to the transmitter.
In the location where is approx.
(d)
outside handle in the right direction, and check the trans·
mitter operation when pressing transmission switch on
the surface of the transmitter body.
Standard:
Remote control of vehicle door lock can be operated.
HINT:
The minimum operation distance differs according to op­
erator, the way of holding, and location.

As weak wave is used, operation distance might be short"
ened when noise is detected in strong wave or used fre­
quency.
Install the battery (lithium battery).
(e)
Install a cover so that 0-ring is not distorted or slipped off.
(f)
Using a screwdriver, tighten the screw.
