REMOVE UPPER SIDE ENGINE LEFT MOUNTING,

NUT AND BOLT
Torque: 80 N.m (816 kgf.cm, 59 fl·lbf)
REMOVE OIL COOLER HOSE

Loosen the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses.
SUPPORT TRANSAXLE WITH A JACK

REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH MOUNT­

ING BOLT
Remove the hole plug.
(a)
Turn the crankshaft to gain access and remove the 6 bolts
(b)
holding the crankshaft pulley set bolt with a wrench.
Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 25 ft.Jbf)
HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
First install black colored bolt and then 5 other bolts.
28. REMOVE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
Remove the 4 bolts.

Torque:
A bolt: 46 N·m (470 kgf.cm, 34 fl·lbf)
B bolt: 23 N·m (230 kgf.cm, 17 ft.lbf)
Separate the transax!e from engine, and lower the trans­
