FRONT DOOR ADJUSTMENT

HINT:
Since the centering bolt is used as the door side hinge bolt, the
door hinge cannot be adjusted with it on. Substitute the bolt with
washer for the centering bolt.
(a) Adjust the front door in forward/rearward and vertical
directions.
Using SST, adjust the door by loosening the body side
hinge bolts.
SST 09812-00010
Torque: 25 N-m (260 kgf . cm, 19 tt-lbt)
Adjust the front door in left/right and vertical directions.
(b)
Adjust the door by loosening the door side hinge bolts.
Torque: 25 N-m (260 kgf.cm, 1 9 tt-lbf)
Adjust front door Jock striker.
(c)
Check that the door fit and door lock linkages are

adjusted correctly.
Adjust the striker position by slightly loosening the

striker mounting screws and hitting the striker with
a hammer.
Tighten the striker mounting screws again.
(3)
Torque: 23 N-m (230 kgf.cm, 1 7 ft·lbf)

ADJUST FRONT DOOR GLASS

Adjust the upper part of the glass inward/outward.
(a)
{ 1 ) Remove the bolt and lower plate.
Pull the lower plate so that the snap is unlocked.
(2)
Remove the snap and lower plate.
(3)
(4) Adjust the glass by turning the setting nut.
Reinstall the !ower plate, snap and bolt.
(5)
Torque: 4.9 N.m kgf.cm, 43 in.·lbf)
