COOLING
WATER PUMP
REMOVAL
1.
REMOVE RH ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
3. REMOVE DRIVE BELT (See page CH-7)
4. 1ZZ-FE:

REMOVE WATER PUMP

Remove the 6 bolts, water pump and 0-ring.

Clean up the engine coolant from the water chamber

5. 2ZZ-GE:
REMOVE WATER PUMP
Using SST, remove the 4 water pump pulley set bolts.
(a)
SST 0996G-1 0010 (09962-01 000. 09963-00600)
Remove the water pump pulley.
(b)
Remove the 6 bolts, water pump and 0-ring.
(c)
Clean up the engine coolant from the water chamber
(d)
room.
NOTICE:
808741
Do not remove the RH engine mounting bracket and gener�
ator when the water pump alone is replaced.
