Roll Media Option Specifications

Roll Media Option Specifications
Introduction
The Roll Media Option available for the Océ Arizona 400 Series and Océ
Arizona 400 Series XT printers allows the use of various flexible media that
are supplied on a roll. Specifications associated with the use of roll media
are indicated in this section.
NOTE
The Océ Arizona 400 Series and the Roll Media Option must be operated
in accordance with the environmental conditions specified in the Océ
Arizona 400 Series Site Preparation Guide and all safety requirements
noted in this document.
Media Size Supported
Width (Max.): 2.2m (86.6")
Width (Min.): 0.9m (36")
Roll Diameter (Max.): 240mm (9.45")
Core Inner Diameter: 76.2mm (3")
Weight: up to 50kg (110lbs)
Print Size Supported
2.190m (86.2")
This allows for a minimum 5mm (0.2") border. This is necessary to ensure
the platen is not contaminated with ink due to possible media tracking
errors. Cured and uncured ink on the platen will have a serious effect on
printer performance. Any spilled ink must be removed immediately (See
RMO Maintenance section). If an image exceeds the 5mm border
requirement, printing will not be allowed to proceed.
Maximum Media Thickness
This value is not officially specified. It is theoretically possible for the RMO
system to accommodate media up to 3mm (0.11 inches). However, most
media at or near that thickness will have problems in the transport
mechanism of the RMO unit.
