Single sided spot welding is used where two sided spot welding cannot be
used. Single sided spot welding can be used on both galvanized and stainless
steel sheets.
IMPORTANT! Single sided spot welding is not permitted on supporting
frameworks of a vehicle. It is only permitted for cosmetic purposes.
The outer sheet must be the thinnest sheet when performing single sided spot
welding. The thickness of the outer sheet to be welded must be less than 1.5
mm, and the thickness of the inner sheet must be less than 2 mm.
IMPORTANT! The multi-function gun does not have an automatic
thermo-switch and no cooling of the welding cable. Therefore, it is important
to manually ensure that the welding cable doesn't overheat. The welder may
otherwise be damaged.
IMPORTANT! When not in use, be sure to place the multi-function gun
and the ground connector so that they do not make electrical contact. Risk
for short circuit.
