5 Service and Maintenance

WARNING! All service and maintenance must be carried out by Car-O-
Liner service personnel and service support. Risk for electrical shock.
WARNING! Never remove any covers or perform any work to the welder
without unplugging the welder from the wall outlet. Risk for electrical
shock.
WARNING! Unplug the welder from the wall outlet before servicing,
cleaning or maintenance. Risk for electrical shock.
Refer servicing to qualified personnel under the following conditions:
When the power cord is damaged or frayed.
If liquid has been spilled into the product.
If the welder has been exposed to rain or water.
If the welder is producing unusual noises or odors.
If the welder has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
If the thermal breaker has switched off the welder.
The amount of use and the working environment should be taken into con-
sideration when planning the frequency of maintenance for the welder. Care-
ful use and preventive maintenance will help you to ensure trouble-free op-
eration.
