The yoke can be rotated 360° to attain maximum reach when performing two
sided spot welding. To set the angle of the yoke:
1. Loosen the yoke by turning the handle counter-clockwise.
2. To set the desired angle, rotate the yoke either clockwise or counter-
clockwise.
3. Fasten the yoke by firmly turning the handle clockwise.
WARNING! It is very important to turn the handle firmly to fasten the
yoke.
WARNING! (510, 530C) Be careful not to losen the yoke too much when
the water cooling is on.
To achieve quality weld nuggets, it is very important that the tips of the pis-
ton electrode and yoke electrode are evenly rounded.

cap"
(500 DA) Use electrode dresser
A used electrode can be sharpened using an electrode dresser.
NOTE: The electrode, not the file, shall rotate when sharpening the elec-
trode.
WARNING! The electrode may be hot. Risk for burning injuries.
