The "Control" application allows the user to set wether the welder should
use "Current control" or "Energy control".
When using CC, "Current control", the welder automatically compensates
the power losses (due to increased heat in the welder) by keeping the current
constant. When using EC, "Energy control", the welder automatically
compensates the power losses (due to increased heat in the welder) by
increasing the welding time.
(510, 530) MC, "Multi control" keeps the total amount of energy at the
correct level by adjusting the current. TC, "Time control" keeps the total
amount of energy at the correct level by adjusting the time
1. Select the "Control" application
"Setting the weld programs".
Select the control function "Current control" or "Energy control" by
clicking on the buttons "Up"
The "Pre pulse" application allows the user to select if the welder should
send a short pre pulse before the welding pulse. The pre pulse facilitates
connection through the material in case there are traces of paint, underseal,
glue etc left on the material that is to be welded.
A symbol is shown in the upper edge of the screen if pre pulse is selected.
Select the control function "Pre pulse" by clicking on the buttons
"Up"
or "Down" .
1. Set the display of current to % or kA.
