6.1 Fault tracing tables

6.1.1 Welder unit

Fault
No power to the welder.The indicators above
the main switch must be on (all three)
Ground fault circuit breaker
Fuses
The welding current has not reached 80% of
the set current.
Insulation
(CR510, CR530)

Possible cause
No voltage supply.
Ground fault circuit breaker has tripped (not
applicable in the US).
Broken Fuse(s) on the welder
Loose connections.
The welder does not receive sufficient power.
Voltage drop from the power supply.
Broken Fuse(s)
Isolation between the metal sheets of the
welding object. (E.g rust protection, glue or
paint)
Uneven tips of the electrodes.
Insufficient connection between the
metalsheets.
CR500 range
Solution
Check that there is power in the wall outlet.
Contact qualified service personnel.
Switch on the ground fault circuit breaker EFB.
Contact qualified service personnel.
Check the fuses on the backside of the welder
Make sure that there are no loose connections
in the electrical plug and the wall outlet.
Contact qualified service personnel.
Clean between the metal sheets.
Change the electrodes or sharpen them.
To confirm the message, press any key to
return to the chosen program/welding. (The
message locks the system function).
Clean the metal from any rust, color etc.
