4.10 Setting up the welder

External accessories, such as an air puller, can
be connected to the CR500 range. These
external accessories, the trigger contact and the
power supply connector for external
accessories are not included with the welder at
delivery. Therefore, the use of external
accessories are not explained in detail in this instruction manual.
Air Puller
1. Select the "Air puller" application, refer to section 4.2.3 "Setting the
weld programs".
2. Set welding power.
The CR500 range can be set up to better fulfil the needs of the user. The
closing sequence of the c-tong can be changed, and the user can also set if
the welder automatically should compensate power losses (due to increased
heat in the welder) by increasing the welding time or the welding current.
The "User" mode also allows the user to set up a trigger test and a wpot gun
electrode pressure test. All these settings can be done in the "User" mode.
1. Open the "User" mode by simultaneously holding down the buttons
"Left" and "Right"
