ESA CONTROL SYSTEM
TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the condition of the wiring harness and connectors before checking sensors or switches.
Test connector:
Green (1 pin
Check connector: Green

Distributor
1. Disconnect the distributor connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to the terminals of the dis­
tributor connector.
3. Check the resistance of the following,
Terminal
A - B
C -D
E -F
4. If not correct, replace the distributor.

Knock Control System

1. Connect the SST to the check connector.
2. Ground the test connector with a jumper wire.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
