CONTROL SYSTEM
12 If not correct, replace the throttle sensor.
13 Turn the ignition OFF.
14 Disconnect the SST and reconnect the throttle sen­
sor connector.
15 Disconnect the negative battery terminal and de­
press the brake pedal for at least 5 seconds to elim­
inate the control unit malfunction memory.
Adjustment
1. Remove the air hose from the throttle body.
2. Disconnect the throttle sensor connector (3-pin).
3. Connect the SST between the throttle sensor and
the wiring harness.
4. Turn the ignition switch ON.
5. Make sure the throttle valve is fully closed.
6. Measure RED wire voltage and record it.
7. Change the voltmeter connection to the BLUE wire.
8. Loosen the throttle sensor mounting screws.
