ON-VEHICLE MAINTENANCE (CYLINDER HEAD)
CYLINDER HEAD
Removal
Warning: Release the fuel pressure. (Refer to Section 4.)
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove in the sequence shown in the figure, for the specially marked parts referring to removal note.
1. Accelerator cable
2. Throttle cable (ATX)
3. Air intake pipe
4. Fuel hose
5. Upper radiator hose
6. Water bypass hose
7. Heater hose
8. Oil cooler hose (turbo)
9. Brake vacuum hose
10. Three-way solenoid as­
sembly

11. EGR solenoid assembly
12. Engine harness connector
and ground
13. Vacuum chamber
Exhaust manifold insulator
