The controller shared scan folder (e.g. GL_SHARE) is not accessible
Network Scan using the shared folder fails
Printer drivers using printer ports such as \\Device Name\DSSC,
\\Device Name\GL_PCL6, and \\Device Name\GL_PS cannot print
(SMB printing). Novell, TCP/IP, and IPP printing are not affected
Printer Driver download (Point-And-Print) from the controller does not
work because the shared printer folder is not accessible
The Microsoft Printing setting on the startup page and in Printer
Utility remains
No effect on ipc1 Document Monitor
Internet Server
The following are the effects on system operation when this service is
disabled:
Printer Utility and Document Manager are not available
IPP printing is not available
Controller can send and receive e-mail normally
The Internet Server in the controller cannot be used to setup an illegal
or malicious web site or spread web-based viruses
Document Manager
The following are the effects on system operation when this feature is
enabled:
Port 6666 is enabled
