Placing the Controller Offline

You can force the controller to remain offline for extended periods of time.
The controller will remain offline until you return it to service. While the
controller is offline, the walk-up functions of the digital copier will still
function normally.

To return the controller to online service, return to the
Administration>Device subtab and select
pull-down list.

Backing up Files

It is a good idea to back up your address book, and templates on a client
PC. This makes them available to restore later or upload to another
controller.
Note: Depending on the amount of information stored, the process of
creating a backup file may take several minutes.
