IGNITION COIL (Continued)
(6) Remove the 2 bolts to the upper manifold to
struts (Fig. 13) and (Fig. 14).

(7) Remove the PCV hose and the brake booster
hose from the upper manifold
(8) Remove the 4 bolts from the ignition coil (Fig.
15).

(9) Remove the spark plug cables from the ignition
coil.

REMOVAL - 2.0/2.4L

The electronic ignition coil pack attaches directly
to the valve cover (Fig. 16).
(1) Remove the negative battery cable.
(2) Disconnect electrical connector from coil pack.
(3) Remove coil pack mounting nuts.
(4) Remove coil pack.
