DESCRIPTION - REAR SUSPENSION
The rear suspension design on this vehicle uses
coil springs mounted above a twist beam axle assem-
bly (Fig. 1).
The rear suspension consists of these major compo-
nents:
• Axle
• Coil spring (2)
• Hub and bearing (2)
• Jounce bumper (2)
• Shock absorber (2)
• Spindle (2)

OPERATION - REAR SUSPENSION
The rear suspension is designed to handle the var-
ious load requirements of the vehicle. As the vehicle
moves along traversing bumps and dips, the suspen-
sion moves up and down to compensate, allowing for
a comfortable, steady ride.
