When using the Sheet Insertion function to add
sheet insertions when making 2 → 2-sided copies*
or using it for "Chapterization" when making 1 → 2-
sided copies, the sheet insertions/chapter headings
are inserted as follows:
■ When the sheet insertion /chapter heading is
inserted at an odd numbered page
(In the example the insertion sheet/chapter heading
is inserted at page 5.)

■ When the sheet insertion/chapter heading is
inserted at an even numbered page
(In the example the insertion sheet/chapter heading
is inserted at page 4. As a result of this, the back of
page 3 is left blank.)

* Sheet insertions can also be added to copy sets
when making 1 → 1-sided copies.
Select the paper feeding locations for each

insertion sheet, then press the [OK] key.
MEMO:
Select the same paper size for the front and back
cover and the insertion sheets.
The display will vary depending on the mode
selected.
After you have finished making the settings,
press the [DONE] key.
Proceed to copy in the usual manner.

MEMO:
To cancel the settings, press the [SPECIAL
FEATURES], [COVER/SHEET INSERTION], and
[C] keys in that order.
You can also cancel the mode by pressing the
key. (The copier returns to the Standard mode.)
