Summary Function Details
Back character Moves the cursor one character to the left.
When entering a command that extends
beyond a single line, press the Left Arrow
or Ctrl-B keys repeatedly to scroll back to
the system prompt and verify the beginning
of the command entry. You can press the
Ctrl-A key combination.
Forward Moves the cursor one character to the
character right.
Back word Moves the cursor back one word.
Forward word Moves the cursor forward one word.
Beginning of line Moves the cursor to the beginning of the
line.
End of line Moves the cursor to the end of the
command line.
Deletes the current character
Deletes text up to cursor
Deletes from cursor to end of the line
Obtains the prior command from memory
Obtains the next command from memory
Converts the rest of a word to uppercase
Converts the rest of a word to lowercase
Deletes the remainder of a word
Deletes the word up to the cursor
