Using the Directory on the 6739i
Accessing and Searching the Directory
Use the following procedures to access and search for entries in your Directory List.
1. Press the

Using the Search Feature in the Directory
1. Press the
2. Enter the name or phone number of the entry for which you are searching. As you type
characters on the keyboard, the entries beginning with those characters display on the screen.
When you have completed your typing, the entry you are looking for, displays on the screen
and the characters you typed display in a text box.
Dialing from the Directory
You can dial a phone number or extension directly from an entry in the Directory List.

3. Select the entry you want to dial. All of the numbers display that are associated with the single
entry (i.e., Cell, Office, Home, etc.).
4. Press a number button to dial the number or extension. The phone goes off-hook and
automatically dials the number from the Directory. For example, pressing the "Office" button
in the screen above dials "2345" automatically from the Directory. The outgoing call defaults
to using Line 1.

System Administrator enabled this feature on your phone. Contact your System
Administrator for more information about the "picture ID" feature.
