Format
delete ipif [<ipif_name 12> {ipv6address {prefix_name <string 1-12>} <ipv6networkaddr>} | all]
Parameters
<ipif_name 12> - The name of the interface.
ipv6address - (Optional) The IPv6 network address to be deleted.
prefix_name - (Optional) Specifies the IPv6 network address prefix name used.
<string 1-12> - Enter the IPv6 network address prefix name used.
<ipv6networkaddr> - The IPv6 network address to be deleted.
all - All IP interfaces except the System IP interface will be deleted.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To delete interface petrovic1:
DGS-3420-28SC:admin#delete ipif petrovic1
Command: delete ipif petrovic1
Success.
DGS-3420-28SC:admin#

enable ipif

Description
This command is used to enable the state for an IPIF. When the state is enabled, the IPv4 processing
will be started when an IPv4 address is configured on the IPIF. The IPv6 processing will be started
when an IPv6 address is explicitly configured on the IPIF.
Format
enable ipif [<ipif_name 12> | all]
Parameters
<ipif_name 12> - The name of the interface.
all - All of the IP interfaces.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
