Description
This command is used to enable SMTP status. If SMTP is enabled, the Switch sends e-mail with the
urgent events including system start, port link change, SNMP authentication failure, config or log save
by user, config reset by user, and TFTP update FW status to the designated e-mail address when any
problem occurs on the Switch.
Format
enable smtp
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example
To enable SMTP status:
DGS-3420-28SC:admin# enable smtp
Command: enable smtp
Success.
DGS-3420-28SC:admin#

This command is used to disable SMTP status.
