Description
This command is used to add or delete a static entry into the Switch's DNS resolution table, or set up
the relay server.
Format
config dnsr [[primary | secondary] nameserver <ipaddr> | [add | delete] static <domain_name
32> <ipaddr>]
Parameters
primary - Specify to indicate that the IP address below is the address of the primary DNS server.
secondary - Specify to indicate that the IP address below is the address of the secondary DNS
server.
nameserver - Specify the IP address of the DNS nameserver.
<ipaddr> - Specify the IP address of the DNS nameserver.
add - Specify to add the DNS relay function.
delete - Specify to delete the DNS relay function.
static - Specify the domain name of the entry.
<domain_name32> - Specify the domain name.
<ipaddr> - Specify the IP address of the entry.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To set IP address 10.24.22.5 as the primary DNS server:
