ipv6 address autoconfig [default]
no ipv6 address autoconfig
Parameters
default
Default
By default, this feature is disabled.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration Mode.
Usage Guideline
This command only available for the VLAN IPv6 interface.
Use this command to configure the automatic configuration of IPv6 address using stateless auto configuration.
When enabled, the IPv6 address will be automatically configured based on the received prefix and the interface
identifier for the interface. When disabled, the stateless automatic configured address will be removed from the
interface.
If the default parameter is specified, it will insert a default route to the IPv6 routing table based on the received
router advertisement. The type of the default route is SLAAC, which has higher route preference than the dynamic
default route.

This example shows how to configure the IPv6 stateless address auto-configuration.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# interface vlan1
Switch(config-if)# ipv6 address autoconfig
