group. In all, 66 bits of information are loaded and printed for each of the 24 dot columns, beginning at dot
column 1 of the odd character and ending at dot column 12 of the even character.
For the P300 shuttle stroke from right to left, operation is the same as for left to right except that dots are
loaded and printed beginning at dot column 12 of the third charter and ending at dot column 1 of the first
character.
For the P600 shuttle stroke from right to left, operation is the same except that dots are loaded and printed
beginning at dot column 12 of the even character and ending at dot column 1 of the odd character.
The SYNC counter is cleared by RESYNC from the timing disk. Every half revolution of the disk provides
one back and forth cycle of the shuttle (two dot rows).
