c. MPU Phasing Test — All Hs (Figure 4–34)
1. Load printer with full width single part paper.
2. Set Exerciser controls as follows:
LINE LENGTH = 132
CHARACTER = H
SPECIAL = NONE
FUNCTION = LINE FEED
3. Place printer on line. Print one half page of the letter H and take printer off line.
4. Examine the printout for vertical alignment of dots in alternate dot columns. If dots are staggered
more than 0.005 inch, perform MPU phasing adjustment per paragraph 5–11.
