5–35. Paper Feed Motor (Figure 5–34)
a. Removal
1. Remove printer cover per paragraph 5–18a.
2. Disconnect feed motor cable (1) from power supply PCBA (2). Cut cable ties as necessary to free
cable.
3. Remove four screws (3) and two sets of washers (4 and 5).
4. Slip belt (6) off motor pulley (7).
5. Separate motor (8) from right side plate (9).
b. Installation
1. Place motor (8) against right side plate (9).
2. Slip belt (6) over motor pulley (7).
3. Install four screws (3) and two sets of washers (4 and 5).
4. Connect feed motor cable (1) to power supply PCBA (2). Retie cable as necessary.
5. Adjust belt tension per paragraph 5–15.
