6. Verify that the ink flows smoothly through the jets by carefully
inserting the end of a paper clip into the hole and gently pushing in on
the bladder.
7. Allow a small amount of ink to escape to prime the cartridge. Remove
the paper clip and observe the ink being drawn back into the bladder.
8. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the ink cartridge and
replace the cartridge into the carriage. Wipe the carriage off, if
necessary.
9. Wipe the transport plate clean of any ink deposits before reinstalling
the Document Printer.
10. Insert the Document Printer into its original location in the transport
plate (for a different location, if the plastic tape has been removed
from the printer slot).
11. Close the front cover.
12. Perform a print test.
