Using the Document
Printer
Positioning the print
head

Before feeding documents which are to be imprinted, verify the following:
The Document Printer print head is in the proper position.
One or both of the Document Printers are enabled.
The correct starting print position is specified.
A print test has been performed and the print quality is acceptable.
To verify the print head is in the proper position, do the following:
1. Open the front cover of the scanner.
2. Lift the Document Printer from the transport plate. There are 8
locations available for the first Document Printer and 8 locations
available for the second Document Printer.
The following illustrations show the transport plate, into which the
Document Printer 1 print head(s) will be inserted.
