Chapter 34 - BOOTP Relay Commands

Parameters
{hops <value 1-16> | time <sec 0-65535>}
<ipif_name 12> <ipaddr>
{ipif <ipif_name 12>}
Used to configure the BOOTP relay feature of the Switch.
config bootp_relay {hops <value 1-16>} {time <sec 0-65535>}
This command is used to configure the BOOTP relay feature.
hops <value 1-16> – Specifies the maximum number of relay agent hops that the BOOTP packets can cross.
time <sec 0-65535> – If this time is exceeded, the Switch will relay the BOOTP packet.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.

Used to add an IP destination address to the Switch's BOOTP relay table.
config bootp_relay add ipif <ipif_name 12> <ipaddr>
This command adds an IP address as a destination to forward (relay) BOOTP packets to.
<ipif_name 12> – The name of the IP interface in which BOOTP relay is to be enabled.
<ipaddr> – The BOOTP server IP address.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
