Chapter 32 - Routing Table Commands

The routing table commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate parameters) in the following table.

To add a single static address 10.48.74.121, mask 255.0.0.0 and gateway 10.1.1.254 to the routing table:

Parameters
<network_address> <ipaddr> {<metric 1-65535>} {[primary | backup]}
<ipaddr> {metric 1-63335>}

{<network_address>} {[static | rip | ospf]}
Used to create IP route entries to the Switch's IP routing table.
create iproute <network_address> <ipaddr> {<metric 1-65535>}
This command is used to remove a VRRP router running on a local device.
<network_address> – IP address and netmask of the IP interface that is the destination of the route.The address
and mask information can be specified using the traditional format (for example, 10.1.2.3/255.0.0.0 or in CIDR
format, 10.1.2.3/8).
<ipaddr> – The gateway IP address for the next hop router.
<metric 1-65535> – Allows the entry of a routing protocol metric entry, representing the number of routers
between the Switch and the IP address above.The default setting is 1.
[primary | backup] – The user may choose between Primary and Backup. If the Primary Static/Default Route
fails, the Backup Route will support the entry. Please take note that the Primary and Backup entries cannot
have the same Gateway.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
