Chart 7 : Skidding when starting, lever in D,
If the warning light is operational and it remains extinguished when there is a fault,
check the conformity of the dipstick on the table in MR T.A.M.
Check the oil level and top it up if necessary.
After checking / replacing the dipstick and topping up the level, does the fault persist?
yes
Check the condition of the drive hub, the
condition of the quadrant rings and E2.
Replace any parts as necessary.
(Refer to MR T.A.M.).
Fault finding aid
juddering in reverse.
Replace the dipstick if it is incorrect.
