Fault finding using bargraph illumination
Enter *27 on the XR25 keypad. What is displayed?
CO
Check the presence and the condition of the feed
fuse of the air conditioning relay. After the
operation, does the fault persist?
yes
Measure the resistance of the coil of the relay
(terminals 1 and 2)
Is the coil broken? (R = )
no
Check/ensure the following continuities:
-
Between track E of the computer 6 track
connector and terminal 2 of the relay base.
-
Between the relay fuse and terminal 1 of the
relay base.
After the repair, does the fault persist?
yes
Replace the relay and remove the computer 6
track connector.
Connect terminal E to earth on the wiring side
and turn on the ignition.
Does the relay work?
yes
Check the wiring on the computer 6 track
connector and the wires. After the operation,
does the fault persist?
yes

And vehicles with load information supplied by the injection computer.
(Without load potentiometer specific to the automatic transmission).
