A - Outer pinion following mark made during
dismantling (chamfer facing downwards,
depending on version).Lubricate it and check
that it rotates freely in the casing.
B - Grease or lubricate the seals.
C - Centre the drive hub, insert the bolts and
tighten them progressively.

IMPORTANT: there are several different ways of
fitting the circlip. In all cases, fit circlip part num-
ber: 77 04 002 420 identified by:
A - One undulating disc, one flat disc and one li-
ned disc alternately.
B - A new lubricated F1 piston support (8).
X - Number of discs (see identification).
C - The operating clearance should be between
1.5 and 2.1 mm.
